Gillingham boss Mark Stimson has laughed off Charlton's offer of swapping Addicks striker Chris Dickson for Gills' top scorer Simeon Jackson.
Dickson has been Stimson's top transfer target all summer, but Jackson's proved his credentials in their season opener with Swindon, scoring a hat-trick.
"He (Addicks' Phil Parkinson) obviously hadn't been drinking what I'd been - water - when he said that," he said.
"It's a no brainer. Jackson for Dickson certainly won't be happening."
He added: "Our man scored 21 goals last year, and has just banged in a hat-trick."
Stimson has previously said he thinks the 22-year-old Canada international is worth around £1.5m.
The Gills have offered Charlton £50,000 for Dickson.
Stimson has wanted to sign Dickson since he was on loan at Priestfield in the 2007/08 season.
