Tottenham full-back Gareth Bale has been linked with a surprise move to Italian giants AC Milan.
The highly-rated Wales international was courted by Manchester United before opting to join Spurs in 2007, but has struggled to establish himself at White Hart Lane.
Bale has fallen behind Benoit Assou-Ekotto in the queue for the Tottenham left-back slot and it appears boss Harry Redknapp is prepared to cash in on the 20-year-old.
And according to reports in the Italian media, new Milan coach Leonardo is a fan of the former Southampton trainee.
The Corriere dello Sport claims the San Siro club are prepared to meet Tottenham's £11million asking price for Bale, and will make their move next week.
